All workshops are 4-hour sessions and include all materials and tools. Classes are held at the studio in San Miguel de Allende, but Gerardo is also available for private sessions at your home.

Painting workshop instruction

Explore traditional and contemporary painting techniques. Learn materials and methods across multiple media: oil, acrylic, and mixed media; encaustic painting; fresco and tempera; watercolor and monotype.

Engraving and etching work

Graphic Arts

Master printmaking and engraving techniques. Explore metal engraving and intaglio (9 different techniques and combinations), monotypes with and without a press, linocut and woodcut, and alternative printmaking methods with diverse materials and tools.

Sculptural form study

Sculpture

Learn sculpture fundamentals and techniques. Explore modeling and direct carving in stone, developing three-dimensional form, composition, and spatial awareness.
